Maija Tote with Bonus Opal Handbag Pattern

Regular price $9.50

This download includes two patterns, The Maija Tote and the Opal Handbag as a bonus free pattern.

The Maija Tote

Two Patterns in One!

The Maija Tote includes TWO versions!

The diagonal zipper pocket with the middle feature panel is the FIRST version. It also comes with the pattern piece to do the feature panel without the zipper pocket.
The SECOND version features a horizontal zipper pocket one side and a large slip pocket on the other side.

Both versions are perfect for that large print you want to showcase. Pattern is written for quilting weight cotton but can easily be made in other fabrics such as vinyl, decor weight or even cork.

The Maija Tote is a medium to large bag with plenty of pockets; instructions include interior slip pockets and a zipper pocket. Instructions include turning through the zipper pocket. When you purchase the pattern, you will receive a digital zipped file which includes a very detailed pattern with text and diagrams, a photo tutorial and pattern pieces in letter size. As an extra, I’ve also added the larger pattern pieces in A3 size.

The Maija Tote may seem a little daunting to the beginner bag maker, but don't despair. The Opal Handbag Pattern

Like a lot of designers, I am inspired by the 1950’s. With the right fabrics, the Opal takes me back to that time, with a modern twist thrown in. A central horizontal panel allows you to show off your favourite print while matching it with the perfect colour of vinyl or cork fabric. Make a matching Opal for every outfit and event, she is such a quick and easy sew that ends in a stylish result. The Opal comes in two sizes, one small and one large. Pattern is written for vinyl and quilting cotton, but can also be easily made in other fabrics suitable for bag making. Included are step by step instructions with digitally drawn diagrams and pattern pieces. Pattern has instructions for an interior zipped pocket, zipper closure, cute folded handles and optional strap. www.facebook.com/groups/HuffnCuffsPatterns Check out my Youtube Channel for a video tutorial that accompanies this pattern. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3WOuN-nLqK1gavP4eQiraw
